First of all I would like to say that this lamp comes with a 220 Volt. 50 hertz. 30 Watt fluorescent tube. This gives a nice warm light.

This fantastic floor lamp was probably made in the 1990s, perhaps earlier. Because it is not marked but has similarities with a hanging lamp, I suspect that it was made by the successful Belgian lighting company Massive.
The light switch is on top of the tube.

It is in vintage condition. The plastic tube has minor damage but no cracks. The heavy metal base has more scratches but no dents.
This large lamp is not often for sale.

The TL tube is included but is not guaranteed as they cannot withstand transport.
In the last photo you can see how the metal mesh with a hook (located at the top of the tube) is pulled in to replace the fluorescent lamp.

The company was founded in 1926 by Pieter-Jozef De Jaeck. In the 1980s, Massive became the leading brand in Europe. In 2008 Philips bought the company and changed the name of the stores to Light Gallery.
