Vintage mushroom lamp

This large desk or small floor lamp was made by Hala Zeist in the early 70s.
It has a beautifully shaped white lampshade made of hard plastic. The tulip base is made of plastic and the upper part is made of metal.
In very nice condition, the lampshade is beautiful white. The hard white plastic of the base has discoloured somewhat over time.

Measurements :
Height - 65 cm. / 25.6 inch.
Hood diameter - 40 cm. / 15.7 inch.

Two original E27 Edison screw-fittings for 40 Watt (max) bulbs light.
We recommend two 4 watt. LED bulbs.
Please use LED bulbs that do not get hot, as the heat cannot escape under the hood, causing it to melt if too many wattage bulbs are used.

Equipped with a new electricity cable 217 cm. / 85.4 inch. long.
New European two-pin power plug type-C.
Also works with type E and type F.

Herman Theodoor Jan Anthoin Busquet (born Feb.9 1914) was a Dutch industrial designer.
Started the company Hala in 1932 and designed mostly modern lighting.
Another classic model is the Pinocchio and nr.144.
