Dynamic Pendent Light by Wilhelm Vest

We are happy to be able to offer this special lamp. This is an absolute design classic that in our opinion equates to a "Hans Folgaard", "Preben Dahl", "Louis Weisdorf" or "Bent Karlby". This is not just light that you get into your home, this is art.
This beautiful and rare design lamp is in very good vintage condition.
The metal slats have some signs of age, but still stunning.
These slats are connected by cord, very original, something I have not seen before.
In the bottom of the lamp hangs a thick opal plexiglass plate that nicely distributes the light downwards.

The Vest Leuchten company was founded in 1953 in Vienna, Austria. They produce luminaires and lighting systems in small batches. Vest is also a retailer with a showroom in Vienna.
In 1969 the Dynamic pendant lamp received an iF Design Award for the models W 1655/1 (white) and W 1656/3 (orange).
Wilhelm Vest designed several lamps for Vest. An umbrella pendant lamp 1699 Spring received an iF Design Award in 1976.
